22 March 2009，British television celebrity Jade Goody of Big Brother fame has died today after a long battle with cervical cancer in Upshire, Essex, England at the age of 27, which was Mother's Day in the UK, and the one month anniversary of her marriage to Jack Tweed. She was born Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody on June 5, 1981 in Bermondsey, London, England. In January 2007, she was a housemate in Celebrity Big Brother. During the show she was accused of racist bullying against Indian actress Shilpa Shetty.
The funeral will take place next Sunday, which is described by Max Clifford, Goody's publicist as a "Jade Goody Production".
英国真人秀女星古迪癌症逝世
英国真人秀女星杰德・古迪(Jade Goody)因癌病逝世、终年27岁，前日(4月4日)于伦敦出殡，获成千上万市民送别，规模有如戴安娜国葬。
古迪的丈夫杰克（Jack）扶灵，并在举行葬礼的教堂朗读一首情诗。现场还播放了古迪生前预录的片段，她最后说：“就是这样了，可能有一天我们会再见，拜拜！”场面相当感人。古迪两名儿子与父亲Jeff身在澳洲，因此并无现身。
古迪7年前因参加英国著名真人秀节目《老大哥》而一炮走红。去年，古迪确诊患上子宫颈癌，随后决定拍摄自己同病魔抗争全过程，将真人秀坚持到底。
